No Pressure, Just Conversation: This isn't a clinical assessment or a sales pitch. It’s a chance for us to meet and see if we "click."
Your Vision, First: We’ll briefly discuss your health goals and what you’re looking for in a Registered Dietitian.
The "Crunch Health" Approach: I’ll explain how my nutrition philosophy works and how I support my clients through collaborative problem-solving.
Answering Your Questions: Whether you’re curious about virtual sessions, insurance, or my specific expertise, this is your time to ask.
Most plans are "plug-and-play" templates that ignore the reality of your life. At Crunch Health, I don't do "cookie-cutter." We focus on Nutrition Strategy. This means we look at your needs, your goals, and your schedule to build a sustainable system. We prioritize whole foods and consistency over the latest "bio-hacking" trends. It’s about building a foundation that works when you’re busy, not just when you’re motivated.
No. In British Columbia, Registered Dietitians are self-regulated health professionals. You can book directly with us at any time. However, many Extended Health Benefits providers require a receipt from a Registered Dietitian for reimbursement, so we recommend checking your specific plan to see how much coverage you have available for "Dietitian Services."
Most private insurance plans in Canada (such as Sun Life, Manulife, Pacific Blue Cross, etc.) cover services provided by a Registered Dietitian. Since I am registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, my services are recognized as a legitimate medical expense. We provide a detailed receipt after each session for you to submit to your provider where direct billing is not an option. Direct Billing is available for a number of Extended Insurance Plans including: Sunlife Fiancial, Manulife Financial, Claim Secure, and Canada Life. Reach out if you have questions.
No. Rigid "yes/no" lists are a primary reason most diets fail. Instead, we focus on Strategic Meal Planning. I provide frameworks and guidelines that allow you to choose foods you actually enjoy while ensuring you hit your targets (protein, fiber, micronutrients). The goal is to give you autonomy, not a set of rules you'll eventually want to break.
Knowing what to do and how to execute it consistently are two different things. I act as your strategic partner to help you navigate plateaus, optimize your nutrition, and create a repeatable system that removes the "decision fatigue" from your daily meals.
